Thinking of pulliing the trigger on a Topping E50

What else should I be considering? I like the fact that it has a digital volume control and the ability to use the RCA output to feed a powered subwoofer while simultaneously using the balanced output to feed my powered monitors.

Interesting that the AKM version of the E70 is over pricing guidelines and the ESS is under at a $100 less.  Of course our C&C guidelines shouldn't influence Doublej's purchase and it's a good suggestion.  I've found the AKM chips to sound much more musical than ESS chips, understanding that implementation makes all the difference.  But when it's over and over across several platforms it's not just chance.

e30 velvet is pretty good and well within "guideline"
