Don't act like I'm the only one who wants to see it. I know some of you have tickets or are planning on getting them soon.

They are selling tickets already?

We still have a month till the release.  :o

I DO want to see it and I DO hope that this turns out to be the best of the second trilogy (not that it will take a lot to accomplish that feat).

I plan to wait til it's been out a week or two.  I hate crowded theaters.

No tickets here yet. I'm guessing I'll be able to catch it at a private screening. If so, then there's no need for tickets.

I've only caught the first trailer, which I thought looked like it was put together by some fan and not Lucasfilm. Not only that but it was terribly incoherant. Cuts so quick it made Bay look like Kubrick. I wasn't really impressed with it.

I'm looking forward to watching, though I have been somewhat disappointed by the prequel so far... Amazingly, episodes 4-6 made such an impact on me when I was a kid that I eagerly watched the re-release in the theater 6-7 years back, bought the released VHS tapes (am thinking about dvd) and watched episodes 1 and 2 and will definitely see episode 3.

"Frank"ly, I am hoping to see Master Yoda kick some a$$ again.

I got tickests for my wife and I on Monday. I am definately going to be there waiting in line all day. I love the first trilogy(actually the second two of the first three) and hated Episode 1 and liked Episode 2. I have high hopes for Ep.3, the new trailer looks great.

Yes, ep2 was clearly better than ep1, which made me wonder if I'd bother watching all the way up to ep3.  ep2 helped to restore the faith, mostly due to Master Yoda, I think!

What really makes the prequel interesting to me is the chance to see experienced Jedi warriors.  The eps 4-6, Obi-wan, Vader and Yoda were all old old old, and Luke to me still seemed experienced even at the end of ep6.

Don't worry, if you go during opening weekend it won't be crowded.
I may watch it on DVD if I want to waste one of my "3 out" Netflix...

You can most definately wake up, kiss a woman goodbye as she goes back to her boyfriend's house and still love Star Wars.

And I beg to differ, I am a Star Wars nerd through and through. I just happened to bring my wife over to the Dark Side.

I think it's Star Trek where the people can get a bit weird (though I'll admit to like Star Trek and Star Wars IV-VI, although II was passable).

I love Star Trek, Dr. Who, Blakes 7, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and i've collected comoc books as well. I'm a normal guy who just happens to like that kind of stuff. Oh yeah, I love audio as well like the rest of you lames   . I just happen to be a good looking nerd. All nerds aren't geeks.

I've been reading and watching scifi for about 35 years. I really enjoyed the original Star Wars movies. When part 1 came out I waited about a month until the crowds died down to see it in the theatre. I waited to see part 2 on TV and turned it off  in the middle. I have no interest in seeing part 3 at all.

I was right there on the first day for 1 and 2. I was sick of 1 as soon as Jar Jar turned out to be a runaway slave. Ep 2 was easier to take, though still very far from being very good. I am excited to see the third one, the previews look very good, and it seems to be much darker and more interesting.

I didn't really like either of the new ones very much, but they had their moments.  The movies were pretty dull and insipid overall, but every time a lightsabre flicked on, the movies came alive.  I'm actually pretty eager to see the final installment.

Turns out that I'm catching a showing in a couple of hours. Didn't end up doing any private screenings.

I hope it's at least ok....
