I never saw the 2019 David Crosby documentary Remember My Name until last night. David talks candidly about his past, his drug use ("I should be dead"), his mistakes and how he managed to alienate almost everyone he made music with. He seems at peace with it all now. The documentary has plenty of archival footage along with songs he wrote, interviews with his contemporaries and stories about Joni Mitchell. Throughout the film there is a melancholy feeling, David knows he is sick and can die anytime. He never stops writing music, making albums and touring.
