Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen: This Is All I Ask (1998) Excellent Neils-Henning album, it's a damn shame I couldn't find any samples. Cheers,Robin
Otis Redding - The Very Best of Otis Redding // Hard to argue here. Not all songs are great but there are some gems.Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs // Excellent! Mark Kozelek - What's Next to the Moon // haven't listened yetNiyaz - Nine Heavens // excellent but then I've heard this prior.Portis Head - Third // wasn't impressed thus far. Kings of Leon - Only by the Night // really impressed. I had written off KOL thinking the singer sucked, this doesn't get on my nerves and the music writing is excellentAndrew Bird - Noble Beast // Really liked itRyan Adam - Cardinology // sounded pretty decent what I finished hearing.Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion // don't get this one on first listen, but then I didn't get into Strawberry Jam on first listen eitherM. Ward - Hold Time // a let down...sounds like a rip off of his other albums...to much of the same sound, bored me.
I've been listening to each of these. Below are my first (and some second) impressions.Quote from: JoshK on 7 Mar 2009, 06:40 pmOtis Redding - The Very Best of Otis Redding // Hard to argue here. "Third" gets more interesting upon further listening.
This was a record from 1963 that you could get from your local Phillips 66 gas station, from a time when gas stations wanted your business so bad that they would give you free gifts if you patronized them! Learn through Stan "The Man" Musial (and co-host Joe Garagiola) techniques on how to improve your batting skills. This record also came with a booklet that further illustrated these techniques, and I have included that in a separate download if you're interested in it. It hasn't improved my batting in Wii Sports Baseball, but maybe it'll work for you in a more practical setting! Hope you like it!
