These are 4 off the beaten path, but excellent sonics and musicianship.

Kate Bush - Aerial  :Her usual eclectic self, this is a dreamscape masterpiece

Rosa Passos - Amorosa  ; Brazillian non Diva; wonderfully simple songs in both Spanish & English. YoYoMa
is on one of the cuts.
Ali Farka Toure -  In the Heart of the Moon   : Essential African folk accoustical gems w/ Toumani Diabate
w/ Ry Cooder on a couple of cuts.
Bill Frisell - The Intercontinentals  : Not sure why I like his music, but excellent musicians.

Shame! you Diana Krall haters out there.

Actually I did not get this CD, but the promotional single from Borders for .99! This CD includes
-a DVD with no less than 9 music videos
-$6 off coupon through Oct 2
-The title track - a James Bondy theme kind of thing

Just got this...some thoughtful electronic and very well recorded music. Might even qualify as great  demo material, oh yeah. Hey its even HDCD encoded.
THis is the second cd of a 3cd series set...they could have saved media resources and made a 2cd set... this cd runs only 33 minutes. Aside from that gripe, very worthwile addition to the music library.
I won't even comment on the album cover art.

Donald Fagen:Morph the Cat vinyl

I picked this LP up at Acoustic Sounds room at RMAF and listened to it in
Experience Music room with Steve Hoffman (who mastered it to vinyl). A great sounding
LP and music.

I'm sure sorry I missed hearing that, Pete!
I really liked the Experience room, both years I was there.
