Built in DAC in the Reali-T

Vinnie,

Is there a chance that the built-in DAC (with reclocking) in the Reali-T might be available for separate purchase? Possibly as an assembled unit which I could drop into a case with the appropriate connectors.

Thanks,

Ashok

Hi Ashok,

The dac in the Reali-T is the diyparadise Monica 2 (www.diyparadise.com), which can be purchased fully assembled for around $120.

If you want a fully assembled one in an enclosure, I have an  order for more of them and will be offering them in a matching Clari-T enclosure, as shown here:

http://www.redwineaudio.com/SN_DacKit_Installation.html

Either the Monica 2 or the SN DacKit will work in this same enclosure.  If you plan to drop it in your own enclosure, you need 12V DC to power the Monica 2 board.

Hope this helps,

ashok

Vinnie,

I had just decided to order the Monica 2 when Yeo's online ordering system stopped working. So, I was looking for alternatives. Thanks for your reply.

Ashok,

I will only be selling Monica 2 as completed units (installated in a case, with battery, jacks, charger, etc).

An alternative would be the Scott Nixon DacKit board:
