Hang 'Em High by Booker T. & the MG's., this is the youtube version and I can't find it anywhere else. All the other versions that I have found are the short versions. I have to play this song several times in a row to get my fix, I love it so much.

I’m so pleased with my system now…

It’s like my favorite song… is whatever I’m listening to at that moment…

I do find certain songs I listen to over & over.

https://youtu.be/1RNNQYpnukA - Billy Strings Sumertime

https://youtu.be/B0G-piKUnWk - Walk off the Earth - Farther We Go

https://youtu.be/v5FVmJKPSrY - Diana Krall - Autumn in New York …. But also, Temptation, Sway, or The Girl in the Other Room is otherworldly.

https://youtu.be/Ez62cQPYyI8 - Nadia Kossinskaja Oblivion  - completely mesmerizing.

Summertime. Perhaps George Gershwins best song. This is a great performance. Just direct and emotional, as it should be. I've never heard a better version in my 65 yrs or so of enjoying it.

“Summertime. Perhaps George Gershwins best song.”

Everytime I’ve seen this song credited …

It just says: Traditional

The counterpoint of the acoustic vs electric guitar is sweet.
Playing in a used guitar store. Recording directly off the guitar amp… & it still sounds phenomenal.

I think the hanging guitars make excellent room dressing for sound dampening.

Summertime is from Porgy and Bess Opera 1935.

Goodbye Pork Pie Hat. Joni Mitchell or Uzeb's versions but so many more and always good!
