Congratulations Lord Cloud and what great timing, I've had a Django for about 1 1/2 yrs. now and just spent 2 weeks with a Bent Noh thanks to a certain LoanWolficer!
With all the usual "in my" qualifications, I found them virtually identical sonically and are both the finest preamps I've heard to date. The Noh has a much nicer build quality to it (keep in mind, I've the old Django chassis) and it has remote volume control, but you don't need vise grips to change sources with the Django. Having finally heard the Noh, I'm now both relieved and completely content with the Django. Relieved because the Django was my first kit and I just love to worry about my fledgling skills.
There is one advantage with the Noh if you're driving two amplifiers, the Noh has a line level output transformer in line with the #2 outputs. This is to help retain input impedance for the amps? I'll defer to someone that understands/knows what their talking about...
What I'm most impressed with in using these TX-102 transformers is that whatever you put in, you get back out, pure and simple! And at any volume level as well. I think you're going to be one very happy lad. Anyway, that's my 2 cents... and it's worth every bit of it!!!
Enjoy!
