BP 26 and PS

I'm setting up my Bryston system and have forgotten whether the power supply is supposed to on a shelf above or below the shelf where the BP26 is located. I remember James saying there is sonic difference when the preamp and power supply are on different shelves.

I remember James saying there was about 4dB noise floor improvement with the PS on top. So its been that way ever since.

I keep mine two shelves apart. NO interaction that way.
Only stands to reason that the power supply is in a separate, shielded enclosure so it doesn’t interact with the audio circuits!
Why put the cases in close proximity if you can avoid it?
