Hello to all and thank you for welcoming me in! I’ll keep it brief, I am a passionate audio listener, huge fan of music and freshly developing creating (with no natural talent at all), but in the great states of everyone gets a ribbon I guess I would get an E for effort.
My obsession began at 16 when I walked into a Best Buy and haggled the gangly red haired sales manager who hadn’t been outside of florescent retail light treatment for months, for a 27” tube tv 📺 open box a hundred below water 🚿 as they say with zero product knowledge. Needless to say I was offered a job stocking CD’s before the tv was bubble wrapped. After 18years with such an incredible company I was able to gain vast experience in every store roll possible and hung my hat after working in 11 different stores a General Manager 4.
Magnolia home theater sales was probably one of the best job responsibilities I can remember something about being a 19 year old punk know it all getting to go into the wealthier homes of the area and build dream AV systems gave me a swag and profound Moxy words just can’t do justice.
Audio and Video continued on with me and my life through out my 20’s and 30’s. My last job was probably one of the coolest jobs I have had the privilege of working at the mothership of PS Audio under his highness himself the great Paul McGowan and family. I walked into the fantasy factory thinking I knew more then most about audio until very quickly realizing I didn’t know Jack shit! At least that’s how Paul had said it on my first day of meeting him and scrambling to make the cut for a spot on the roster!
That said I do need to apologize as I completely lied to all of you when I said brief! Those of you who took the time to read my introduction in its entirety I can only hope the mediator of this chat gives you a substantial boost ⬆️ for making it to the end.
