Dac clock

Dac clock

Hi everyone!

From cold I mean or say from standby how long does it take a dac clock to reach optimum operating temperature? The reason I ask is I am thinking of a tube output dac like Musical Paradise so obviously I can't leave it on 24/7.

There's 2 warmup stages.  First the tubes themselves warm up, that's pretty fast, maybe 15 minutes.  Then the transformers have to warm up, that's usually a little longer, probably 30 minutes from initial turn-on.

Ok thanks Tyson! So the the clocks should be stable by one hr I guess!
