That Techflex that your cables are in may be causing a similar effect to the carpet that you are trying to get them off of.

does it have a similar effect when using techflex on interconnects?

My dogs would destroy cardboard risers in 0.2 seconds. Any time we get a package in the mail, the dogs get a new box to chew up into 1,000 pieces. It's already hard enough keeping them away from the wood blocks  :lol:

There are several good suggestions in this thread.  I bought some of these a few years ago, and thought they were not too expensive given what some isolation devices cost.

For a small investment, they'd only do it once. 

Haha, yup. I have some sport dog collars and automatic bark collars. A great tool when called upon for these knuckleheads. We did train them that cardboard is fair game but shoes and furniture are off limits. Acceptable tradeoffs.
