Just undated my A/V system, including a 4K/Blu-Ray player and 65 inch 4K TV. Not much of a movie fan so have no 4K/Blu-Ray discs but was looking for recommendations along the sci-fi/action genre that would show off the new gear. Thanks in advance.
As a side note, I have found that HDR makes the most significant difference. On dark scenes, there are no defined transitions between dark levels. Same for a bright object, a lightbulb say, and it's decrease in brightness farther away on screen.
I found a comparison. Look at the sky, you'll see banding in one, smooth in the other. It's not too visible in the low quality uploads, but if you google it, better examples are out there.
