Hello. Here's a bit of new-guy intro and my urgent request.  I've owned my Gallo Nucleus Ref II since they were new (1996?)  They have been a part of my life over the past quarter century + --and that's way beyond their still stupendous sound.  Smart fellow that I am, I took a photo of the wiring before my last move (Santa Fe, NM to Berkeley CA). That photo went missing. I tried to rewire according to memory and zero technical understanding (5 terminals on top spkr and 3 on lower). All I get on low end is snapping and popping.

Many Google searches brought me to a for sale post on audiocircle. Posted over two years ago by Rusty Jefferson. As soon as the site allows, I'll reach out to him. These are the only online photos I've found of the speakers (composite balls and open metal box frame,) and more important. Rusty had, and new owner has, the documentation that I need.

Full documentation would be great; or even, just a wiring sketch. I suppose I could have damaged speakers, or the fault could be with my same-vintage electronics. But being confident of wiring would be a start.

Thanks for your attention and any help you can provide.

Greetings & Welcome to AC Martin   :thumb:  Looks like Rusty was on site somewhere yesterday, so get your 3 approved posts in and you should be able to PM him to see if he can help. Roll of the dice if he checks this thread, if so pretty sure he'll respond. Good luck, someone can probably assist with your question.  8)

Thanks for replies. Got a question. For years I struggled with an overload of CDs (vinyl and digital tape just distant memories.)  I anticipated that streaming would soon meet my need for CD- (and better?) quality without adding gear for storage capacity and ease of searching. Maybe that's too low a threshold for some on this board, but it has worked out for me. Where (here) am I likely to discussions related to streaming? Hope this doesn't distract from my Reference II inquiries. Just learning the lay of this particular land.
