I built Danny's W/Frame OB subs in 2016 to go with my Magnepan 3.6 speakers. I also added inline capacitors. For music they were fine, but often bass heavy movies would bottom them out. Recently I added a Lyngdorf MP60 2.1 AV Processor to my 7.2 Maggie system. The MP60 has a room correction system called RoomPerfect. Part of the program has a sub analysis system. After checking the room with 13 different mic positions it was complete. The Magnepan speakers have never sounded this good, and the bigest surprise was the W/Frame subs. They became a natural extension of the speakers. Low frequency movie effects no longer bottom out the subs. I had actually purchased new drivers to build sealed Rythmik subs, but that is no longer needed. Lyngdorf includes RoomPerfect in several products. The TDAI-1120 is the least expensive way to get RoomPerfect. If you have OB subs I suggest giving it a try.
