Hello great audiophiles

New here, been here a few times on Nuprime circle, but now i want to be a member in this great forum.

Welcome!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?  I've been into audio for nearly 50 years.  Back then it was about the only high tech pastime available, besides I was tired of the TV selections.  Developed a strong liking for audio/music in college and assembled "digital ready" pre-amp, power amp, and loudspeakers afterwards.  Then married life happened and like many it interfered with serious audio.  Got divorced about the same time as the internet drove most audio shops out of business around me and got back into it again.  Since then remarried, built a house with a dedicated listening room, changed gear too often, and now am streaming most of my music.

How about you?

I am just an regular audiophile
System contains:The shorter version
Bubbleupnp Qobuz> ER-X > Nuprimee SW8 > Jriver > NEUB 1020 > IFI USB Purifier3 > Orion 16ch DAC > 6  mono amps > Speakers

And the long version
Antelope Audio Orion SC studio interface, as multichannel dac
Neotech NEUB 1020 USB cable, Ifi USB purifier into dac.
Monitor Audio Silver 10 converted to active crossovers done on PC, at the moment i am using Dephonica as crossover for fir filters 128000 taps.
Two Nord Acoustic Nord One NC500 MK1 Monos (bass)
Nord NC500 DM MKII (midrange)
Two NC400 monos (Tweeters)
Mogami 3182 DB25 to XLR breakout cable, 110ohm
Siltech G5 XLR cables to amps.
Supra PLY 3.4 speaker cables.
Internet : 500 Mbit, Edgerouter x > Nuprime SW8, modded from an local guy in town. Cat 8 internet cables

Streaming using Bubbleupnp, Qobuz to PC Jriver as renderer and global windows 11 volume control due to interface volume cannot be regulated with windows volume control. So i am using the DB25 outputs in full scale at 20 dBu, and -4.5 in panning law

Using Buchardt A500SE active/wireless monitors, rated 25-40,000 Hz, Primare SC15 wireless server/DAC, MacBook Air M2 laptop in a dedicated listening studio.  Note that audio gear is all Scandinavian.  Spent 5 weeks with a host family in Finland on a cultural exchange after high school.
