Got a pair of the MOST Extremed Kismet monoblocs. Always thought they were 200 watts per side, into 8 ohms. Had 'em open recently, re-biasing (thanks, Herr Klaus for returning my call. Got the left amp biased just fine). It finally struck me, these monoblocs are a stereo amp bridged together. So, I've got two sides tied together. in each amp. So that should mean they're 400 watts each into 8 ohms, right? DOH!! And my Audio Physic Virgos are 4 ohm speakers. So that means I've got 800 watts per side on tap??!! YOIKSS!...not that I'm complaining! Is this correct? Oh, wretched excess!....

Don't be too concerned with specs (or power); if you like the amps, enjoy them.

@AnalogDog - What did Klaus recommend for bias setting on the Kismet monos?

He recommends you start with 21-22mv. I like mine slightly warmer. I'm right around 24-25mv.
