This set of speakers was ordered by a customer who lost his job on December 31, 2021 and was not in a position to finish the project. The cabinets are one sealer session away from being able to shoot final topcoat on the cabinets. So they could be finished in short order (prices on our web site) for quick delivery.
We didn't finish the cabinets yet because the curly maple veneer can be finished naturally or dyed with any color (i.e. rose-red, electric blue, purple, green, etc.). Since the purchaser may want a color applied to the final topcoat, we thought it best to wait to apply the final finish.
