How to make two bass towers with Servo Sub Kits?
« on: 20 Nov 2021, 12:08 pm »
What will it take to make two Servo Sub Kit bass towers with five woofers in each tower?

I envision a tower together with a pair of NX-Treme, where the bass towers have the same height as the NX-Treme, and with the Rythmik amplifier built into the base.

To achieve this, I envision a tower with five woofer elements in each tower. That way, the tower does not become too high, and the base can be adjusted in height so that the height of the tower is exactly equal to the height of the NX-Treme. See photos for illustration.

The reason for this project is basically only aesthetic, it simply looks very cool. A pair of Servo Sub Kit 5 will in itself be more than good enough.

I don’t think that’s a viable idea.  Due to the impedance of the woofers you can only power up to 3 per amp.  The amps are sold with the drivers because they need a special circuit added for open baffle use.  Not to mention the weight of a triple cabinet plus amp will likely be over 60kg.
