I am putting together a system system using a Soekris DAC, Behringer NU6000DSP amp, and Tektondesign Double Impact speakers. For now, the source will be Quobuz via a laptop connection to the Soekris by USB. The volume controls on the front panel of the Behringer amp will make it possible to not have a preamp per se.I have about $100 let to spend on speaker cables, and I would really appreciate any recommendations in that price range that other members have personally tried.Thank you
If you can do a small amount of DIY the Duelund bulk wire is very good for the money. No termination needed. Insert stripped bare wire at both ends into the binding postshttps://www.partsconnexion.com/duelund-speaker-cable.html
Thanks for the suggestion. I have enough 12ga OFC multistranded cable on hand for the stereo 8 foot cable run I need, and I have gold plated spades, Cardas solder, and a suitable soldering iron for the assembly. I can do the DIY, no problem, but if there is a better completed cable to be had or $100 (new or used) that would be preferable.
Nope, you've got everything you need. Don't waste your $$, rather put it towards more music !!
