[Steviewunda]

Hi folks - I recently completed a pair of open baffles based on Steve Deckert's (Decware) Big Betsy's using the Lii Audio F15 full-range driver. I made the baffles from 1 8'x4'x1.6" bamboo plywood panel. Initial impressions are good enough that I may sell my Maggies (1.7's) which need a little more grunt than my recently purchased tube amp. Sensitivity of the F15 full-range drivers is 97db so powering them is not a problem. The sensitivity is such that I'm going to have to eliminate some hitherto unnoticed noise from the system I haven't really missed tweeters so far, but my curiosity will probably spur me to try some (any recommendations gratefully received)
