I have enjoyed my (Anthony) Gallo Acoustics micros + sub for 20+ years in my living room setup, but now I'm looking for a setup for a dedicated listening room. I'm 60. I'm a music lover but on a limited time and money budget, so I will stream all the music (not going to take the time or money to invest in CDs or albums) through a Bluesound Node. I am considering the GR Research speakers or CSS Audio and Schiit audio equipment (BiFrost DAC, Freya pre-amp, Vidar amp) which fits my high value, moderate price approach, for an end game setup (for me). Not interested in headphones - they sound great but I don't like having them on my head. I have a 13'x14' room with 10 foot ceilings, wallboard walls, and some non symmetries on the back wall at the top (45 degree angled wall piece 2' wide, at the ceiling). I have a sub I can use but may pop on a subwoofer as well eventually.
