« on: 25 Jul 2021, 11:37 pm »
I am the original owner .  I received these spkrs in Jan 2019. They are in excellent condition and like new. I have all the shipping boxes and packing material.
I bought these for some low power tube mono amps i had , as they are high sens at 98db.
They have very low usage as i don't often use them in the summer being connected to tube amps (heat issues)
Only selling local pickup at this time -- no shipping.  I am in the 60435 zip area.
$700  obo -- cash only.

I'm posting to share my positive recommendation.

My wife and I checked out Zeke's speakers on Sunday. As many of you may already know, these Tekton Lores sound great with all kinds of music (we listened to jazz, rock, classical, folk, electronic). Clear, detailed, natural, musical. Impressive bass extension, better than many other tower speakers (not to mention standmounters). Detailed/revealing but did not make harsh music difficult to listen to. ("Accelerator" by Primal Scream is our go-to test for that.) My wife commented both on the warmth and on hearing details in some of her favorite music that she hadn't heard before (including on some very highly regarded speakers).

We recently started looking to upgrade our speakers. This was the first time we heard Tektons, and we both felt they were the best speakers we'd heard so far. (We since got to hear some Tekton Perfect SETs, which were even better -- but they also take up a bit more space and cost a good deal more.) Neither one of us would claim to be an audio expert, but we've listened to B&W 600 and 700 series floorstanders, PSB, Klipsch Heresys, some KEF, and Wharfedale Lintons (in other words, mostly but not all in the sub-$2000 range). Btw, the Wharfedale Lintons are also great speakers, but overall we preferred the sound of the Tekton Lores.

All that said, we decided not to buy these speakers because the light gray finish wouldn't go well in our house. They would go well with lots of decors, including white, off-white, and light gray interiors that many people have.

Also, I did not see any cosmetic flaws, period. Agree with Zeke that they are like new.

I only know Zeke from reaching out to him to check out these speakers. He was helpful, informative, completely reliable about communication and scheduling, and he clearly takes good care of his gear.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
