As I said before MS will try install TPM software in your W10 at all costs to control your files, DRM and put an end in your privacy...
Err... don't you need that if your computer has a TPM in it? At any rate, maybe it's time to try Linux? It's a lot easier than it used to be.
As much as I hate Microsoft strong-arming us with Cortana, Edge, and Microsoft account, I've now spent a good amount of time with MacBook and well...

It finally happened a couple of days ago. Windows 10's end of life was October 14, 2025, which means Microsoft no longer provides free software updates, security patches and technical support.A paid Extended Security Updates (ESU) program ($61 USD/year) is available for organizations and consumers for up to three years after this dateThe Free ESU Offer Expired October 13, 2025. The free Microsoft ESU program included important security updates through the until October 13, 2026, for Windows 10 version 22H2.I have been using Windows 11 for 3 years and nothing in the video above applies to me. I don't have Copilot+ and if I did it can easily be turned off. I have zero cloud storage setup and I don't use Microsoft 365. Bitlocker is not enabled. My computer basically works the same as when I had Windows 3.11 for Workgroups installed but better, I haven't had a bluescreen in 3 years.Windows 10 is 10 years old, most of the security holes have been patched but I wouldn't be surprised if hackers have been holding back and waiting for October 14th. It's now open season on 40.5% of all Windows computers. That's too big a business opportunity to ignore.I wonder how many of those Windows 10 computers are sitting unused and collecting dust? I don't know many people that use a stand alone computer anymore, it's a cell phone or tablet for everything. And cell phones are better at tracking than any desktop computer ever made, they listen to everything you say, track everywhere you go, what you buy, know all your contacts and what you type in a private chat group.
