Giving away: JM Reynaud Twins MK III

I'm also giving away (free, or if you're feeling generous, in exchange for a nominal donation to a charity of your choosing) the following:

JM Reynaud Twin Mk III

I've owned these speakers for the last 20 years, and hope they end up in a good home.  Due to age, the foam plugs have deteriorated, but it seems like it's relatively straight forward repair to retrofit new ones on.

Zip code: 95051, Pick up only

Sunny.

Generous give-away!   :thumb:

No matter the age still great speakers,  I listen to mine everyday in the 2nd rig.  Sublimely musical.  Matter of fact, years ago I sold my first pair.....missed them so much.....I bought them again.  Can't believe how good they sound streaming jazz all day with an old SB Touch (Boulder Cable mods + deluxe power supply) and Redgum integrated.

BTW, my foam also dried out and crumbled from age.  I checked with Bob Neill (Amherst Audio) -- resident USA Reynaud guru -- and he said it's strictly cosmetic, no effect whatsoever on SQ.   Just a note to the lucky new owner to not get themselves in a snit over it.

I've owned the Twin Mk., Twin Signature and now the latest iteration the Bliss Jubilee and still quite remarkable speakers and still reasonably priced at $2500 compared to the comparable Harbeth at over double the price.

Agree!

Earlier versions (up to "Signature") getting old so not seen much on the used markets anymore, but when they do pop up they are an absolute steal at around 500 bux.  I have the Mk3.

In the past 24 mos I've seen used Bliss Silvers (version before yours) + Magic Stands in the $1000 range for both.  IMO, that's a great deal.  I saw....hesitated on the trigger.....and lost them.  They went fast.
