Bought these as demos about 20 years ago.
Are they in perfect shape? Absolutely not. Do they sound terrific? Absolutely yes. 93db sensitive, can be driven by most anything. I've used as low as 3 watts, and as high as 60, always tubes.
Placement is literally up against the wall, preferably in a corner, a very serious space saver. Will you admire them for their stunning flawless cabinetry? Nope. Will you be amazed at their soundstage and detail? Yup.
Properly placed their frequency response is 45Hz to 20Khz, +/- 6dB in room. I've supplemented with a sub off and on over the years, but it's really not necessary. All genres are well reproduced, but as all AN speakers, midrange and detail are their strongpoints.
Perfect for classical, folk, jazz, acoustic of any kind and of course vocals. Not that they don't rock, but these are what the do best.
As far as condition, see the pics. The bass cones were replaced five years ago. Tweeters are original and there are no issues with them technically.
Again, these are not fine furniture pieces. Not horrible, but far from perfect. I can tell you from the sitting distance when critical listening, you don't see the flaws and frankly you won't care.
Price? $500 OBO. Absolutely the best speaker you can get anywhere for $500. They come with a very short pair of custom stands that bring the tweeter right up to ear level. There is a very small chance I can find the original spikes, but I'm not guaranteeing that.
