Yay!
I've had a quick search around the forum but can't find a total number of members, I presume it's quite a few and that possibly only a small number of us Brits.
I'm in Cardiff btw.
Cheers!

I am in Kingston upon Thames, South West London! I joined here in 2015 because as I bought a DAC and pair of class D monoblocks from an American company based in Colorado, called The Digital Amplifier Company. I suspect there are very few people in the UK using this kit.  Sadly one of the power supplies for the monoblocks has recently broken and The Digital Amplifier Company no longer exists, it's founder and designer, Tommy O'Brien, sadly died during COVID.  Tommy was an excellent chap and provided fantastic service but with his demise, it is unlikely that I willbe able to get the power supply repaired as I believe that Class D switching power supplies are rather specialised. I am currently wondering about replacing my Class D monoblocks with a more traditional class A or A/B stero amp.

Following on from my last post, if anyone here knows of someone with the necessary electronics knowlege and skill to fix a class D amp external power supply do please let me know.
I am also considering swapping the mono blocs out of my system and replacing with a class A or A/B amp in the £1000-£1500 price range to pair with my Audio Experience tube pre-amp, details here,
https://www.ys-audio.com/a2.htm .  If anyone has good recommendations for such a pairing, I would love to hear from you! TIA

I could look a new PS of same voltage at Ebay.

I'm new here, based down in Cornwall.
Bit of a fiddler trying to find cheap ways of improving my system. Ebay bargains and some naive DIY efforts.
Latest project is to build a decent quality passive preamp to use as a volume control for a home built class d dual mono power amp.
Looking forward to interrogating the Audicircle experts and pinching some ideas! :)
