A pair of FST with crossovers add 10lbs.  USPS is not reliable for international shipments.

Hi,

If you use usps global express it is shipped by fedex.  I found this method better than dhl express.

Ok Brian,

Who is then?  :?:

FedEx, Dhl and other hand to hand delivery services does cost around $250-$300 for a 40 lb packet. They are fast deliverers but I am not in a hurry to get the mods. The packet could ship for 2 weeks and I wouldn't care. Is there any reliable shippers that are cheaper?  :?:

Regards,
Roger

i have shipped a vintage mcintosh preamp to italy, a vintage revox integrated amp to singapore, two vintage tunas to spain.  all via usps surface mail.  all made it safely, tho usps surface typically takes 4-6 weeks.  surely it would be easier to pack loudspeaker drivers to ensure they arrive in one piece than fragile electronics equipment.

ymmv,

Thank you for the input doug s.

Maybe Brian had some unfortunate incidents when shipping with USPS?
Can you give us some information on the shippers you categorise as reliable Brian?  :?:

BTW, has anybody tried the Sonicaps in their speaker-crossovers?

Regrads,
Roger
