Scansonic is part of Danish Raidho, and the technology, design and execution quality of these is in the mold of that great company. Raidho's house sound is fast, dynamic, detailed, and lacking obfuscation, and these are right in line with that.
These M5 HDs are small (6x6x10.5), with beautiful, solidly built and braced cabinets in a true black lacquer, mirror finished.
They have a planar tweeter, similar to the whole Raidho lineup, mated at 3500 hz to a very good 5.5" woofer (as
I measure it- Raidho calls it 4.5"). Very good bass for the size, and incredible detail across the spectrum.
This pair is truly like new. There may be one or two faint scratches, but I can't find them.
I will ship in original good packing.
These are high resolution speakers, moreso than any I've heard near this price.

An amazing bargain at $550 new, this pair is stupidly cheap for what they offer.
They weigh in at ~8 lbs. ea. with a ship weight of ~20 lbs. total, so shipping cost is reasonable.
