I couldn’t stand IPA’s, the first time I tried one, I could barely finish it... too citrusy! ick!!
Well, I don’t know what propelled me to try another,  Well, now they’re one of my favorite beers!

I hear you! It took me quite a while to get used to the bitterness, so I think IPA's are an acquired tasted for many, like scotch. Now that I have tried quite a few IPA's (as long as they are balanced) and scotch whiskeys, I enjoy them!

Bell's Oberon, Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, Anchor Steam. And the occasional IPA - occasional enough to not have a favorite.

Anything from your local craft beer brewery. Support your local businesses.

+1 I almost always get a few 6 packs of the local brews, Flying Bison, Southern Tier and many others... they’re excellent  :thumb:

"Southern Tier", not a term most use when speaking about NY. Most would say upstate, which of course is Plattsburgh. Ha.  Exit 32 native.

I like this Country Boy Cougar Bait Blonde here in Kentucky on tap. It's a little harder to bear from the can. More Schlitz-like.

Ha! Yeah, I think anyone west of Schenectady hates being referred to as upstate...

ST is a brewery on the move though. https://stbcbeer.com/

Having grown up in the Buffalo, NY area, Southern Tier was used to describe Allegany, Chatauqua, Steuben, etc., counties. Buffalonians preferred western New York. If you were from the NYC, anywhere west of  Poughkeepsie was considered "upstate".  :D
