Talking about intrusive marketing.  As a 12 year old in the early 70’s I decided my time was well spent memorizing the jingle backwards and then spend my middle teen years to chomping Big Macs as an after school snack.

Those creatures are real! Tremors was filmed in the Alabama Hills outside Lone Pine, California. The town has The Museum of Western Film History that have the creatures on loan, just in case they are needed for another film. 100's of westerns were filmed around Lone Pine, the area is well worth the trip. Mt. Whitney is a couple of miles away and Death Valley is down the road, the highest and lowest points in the US.









Visitors to the area are advised to stay close to the rocks just in case the ground starts vibrating.
