Yeah the Otica MTM is a compromise in size.
But from my estimation very little is lost, aside from maybe imaging in the bass region along with some scale.

But where space is tight, I'd imagine the trade off is worth it.

Aboslutely!!! My 12’ x 14” room sounds spectacular. I have a cabinet for the MTM section of the Super 7’s that I’ll build out once Danny gets his Neo 10s ready. Then I’ll be able to compare the ‘Otica top section to the S7

Here's hoping! I'm definitely interested to see how the two of them compare! I know that the Neo10s have a great reputation, esp after hearing from those that have heard the Super Mini & Line force models, as well as the Super 7s.

Hopefully Danny can eventually make some progress on them in the near future as BG seems to have put them at EoL status. unless they plans to update/replace them or halt manufacturing to focus on Neo3 production. Only time will tell i suppose.

  • Audio - It's all a big fake.
If you listen to mostly rock, then the NX-Otica might actually be a better choice than the Super 7.  For classical/jazz, the Super 7 pulls ahead pretty easily, IME.
