Comet: second owner, maybe some minor polishing scratches on acrylic top plate from previous owner but at least an 8/10. Comes with everything. Operationally perfect of course. It's about 4 years old now. The Comet is the "plus" model, meaning it has the upgrade Exogal power supply, too.
Ion: original owner, purchased BNIB about a year ago, has Hyperdrive upgrade, not a scratch on it and operationally perfect. Comes with everything, sounds sensational, very unique. I'll include a Blue Jeans HDMI cable, which I preferred to both an Audioquest Vodka HDMI ($500) and Audioquest Pearl HDMI.
This sums up the Comet-Ion combo very well, and it's now one of that reviewer's references still. It's truly that good (and I've owned LOTS of gear, tube and SS over the years, and I've built a lot of kits, too)
