Just finished my Bugle! Took about 2 hours (my first kit). I have to say that I haven't smiled uncontrollably like this in at least a year!
My wife thinks I've lost it.
Since this is my first DIY audio job other than ICs, I figured something would go wrong; not! The Bugle is light-years ahead of the old NAD 1020B I was using for a phono pre. What a great natural sound.
I built it with Vishay resistors. I am running it with 12v SLA batteries.
