1/4" Bryston input connector
« on: 11 Feb 2021, 10:16 pm »
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.
I currently have an older(1987) Bryston 3B. It has 1/4 inch and RCA connectors.
Are the 1/4" connectors balanced on the bryston ?
Right now My plugs are 1/4" to RCA plugs, but I'm getting a Bryston with balanced outs, so I was considering XLR to 1/4"

I seem to think the 1/4" are unbalanced, just need to confirm this.
Thank you.

The picture looks like a Pro version so it would be tip/ring/sleeve which would be balanced.
