I have decided to sell off my main audio system. For the past two years I find myself listening mostly to my near field / studio monitor system in my home office and just don't have much time for dedicated listening.
Up for sale in this listing is my AudioKinesis speaker system. It is based on the Planetarium Alpha and was custom built by Duke LeJeune for me in 2010. I added a pair of Swarm Satellite Subs so I could have the benefit of the full Swarm 4 subwoofer system. That brought the total price that I paid to
$8,500.
Duke describes the speakers here with full specs:

The cabinets have definitely acquired a few bumps and bruises along the way. So if what you're after is heirloom quality furniture then you should probably look someplace else. The cabinets on the mains are made from MDF and the front baffles are made from solid walnut. The front baffles are in very nice shape overall with a minor scuff on the side of one cabinet. The side panels have a few scuffs and scratches. See the included photos for full disclosure.

If cosmetics are somewhat secondary and what you value the most from your loudspeakers is performance and sound quality, then look no further. The drivers are in superb condition and these speakers sound fantastic after 8 years of regular use. I am reasonably confident that you would be very hard pressed to find a loudspeaker system that sounds anywhere near as good at 3 times my asking price.
LOCAL CURBSIDE PICKUP ONLY in Windham County, Connecticut. Local pickup is still available and preferred, but I am opening up this listing to shipping to the 48 lower U.S. States only. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. If you are going to use a carrier like FedEx or UPS then you will need to provide me with shipping labels. If you are going to use a freight service then the truck that comes for the speakers MUST HAVE A LIFTGATE since the speakers are at a residential address and there is no loading dock.
