Very Good, Clean Condition VAS Audio Citation II Mono Block EL-34 Based Tube Ampifiers. 9/10 on the Audiogon Scale.
Rated at 50 WPC Ultra Linear and 25 WPC in Triode mode, with 4 & 8 ohm taps. Tube Rectified and comes with a pair of low hour Genalex Gold Lion 5AR4/GZ34/U77, low hour 12AU7/12AX7 Small Signal Tubes, and a nice set of Shuguang EL-34's. I will also include a good quad of Gold Lion KT-77's as well.
Original Owner, Have all the Original Factory Packaging, Manual and unused Power Cords. Have spent their life set up in a non smoking, Dedicated Listening Space with no small children or pets. I alternated usage with a Solid State Amp as well, so not a ton of hours on them.
The Citation II's are deceiving in size as they weigh in at 32 lbs. each, with point- 2 -point wiring. They have very good, hand wound Transformers that are extremely quiet, and are much more powerful than one would expect. The Citations drove my 89 dB 6 ohm speakers with ease.
I am 99% sure that the Amps are manufactured in the same plant as Cayin and Prima Luna for VAS Audio. VAS is also a Cayin Distributor.
