Has anyone heard or own the Cary SI-300.2d integrated/DAC amp. They normally sell for $6k but they are on sale for $3600, probably an end of production sale. My son purchased one used last night for $2,775 based on reviews. He is moving on from a Parasound A21 which we are selling for $1100.
We are just curious about the sound from a user.
By the way, we got to hear the marantz PM-KI Ruby Reference INT and the model 30 on focal aria 948 speakers. The Ruby blew it out of the water. The ruby is punchy, detailed, smooth, slightly warm and dark with good transparency and wide soundstage. Totally non fatiguing. The model 30 sounded mifi and muddy in comparison. Source was the dac in the marantz SACD 30n via usb and Audirvana.
