This has probably been asked before but is it OK to permanently run monoblocks (28b) stacked on top of each other?

Hi
A lot would depend on the speaker load but assuming normal loads and normal listening levels you should be fine.
The top amplifier may get a little warmer than the bottom amp due to convection but the amplifiers have built in heat detection which will shut the amplifier down if it gets to hot.

I have run mine for years stacked after James gave me the same advice. The top amp definitely gets warmer. What I have done is just have a fan near by that continually blows air across the amps and that keeps both cool to only mildly warm.

I have two 7B3 amps, but do keep them on separate shelves for the best heat dissipation. If I was purchasing two amps cost as much as the 28B3 I would definitely keep them on separate shelves with plenty of ventilation.
