I just got my JVC F10 and am haveing trouble hooking up the digital part of it. I am connecting it to my soundcard, which has a digital line out, and I am useing an RCA Y coaxial cable hooking it up to the receiver DVD/DVR port in the audio section. I set the Digital Input 1 to DVD/DVR but there is alot of static in the speakers and I can barely hear the music. It works fine in Analog, this is only in digital. Any suggestions?

Try toggling the 'digital' button on your remote if your running digital in...it can only be done from the remote, not the receiver itself. Try that, report back.  

I think I ran into a similar problem long ago that was solved with that.
