Clive I think that might be because firmware update requires you to reset defaults during procedure.
Mine is set low on purpose when dog goes upstairs I crank it.
Don’t wanna deafen the mutt.

Dear Bryston staff,

Some time ago, there were some rumours about Tidal Connect coming to the Bryston streaming world, incl. the BR-20.
May we have some news on this front? E.g. is it on the roadmap / planned, etc.?

As an owner of multiple Bryston products, and a user of Tidal Connect (amongst other app-driven platforms), the only thing that discards a BP16 -> BR20 upgrade (and more) is the lack of Tidal Connect. At least if it not comming, would be "nice" for such a passionate user base to know!

Thanks,
Alexandru

Is there any way to stream WWOZ (from New Orleans) using the BR20?

Using bRadio?

If I can I can get rid up the laptop I’m using now.

Thanks

I am a bit confused and want to clear something up: James Tanner, you mentioned that you should not use device volume in ROON to control volume in the App, but I don't think this is correct. With device volume configured, ROON will adjust the analog volume control, not do it digitally. This is only done when using DSP volume within ROON. Using fixed volume is actually very crazy, as it should according to logic turn the volume up to max on the BR-20.

Please confirm!

I have had bad experiences using Roon to control the volume on my BR-20.   Several times the volume increased without bound, risking damaging the speakers.  I know others have had this issue too.  I don't know if it's been fixed.   I control volume on the BR-20 with the Bryston remote or the knob on the unit when using Roon.
