DIY AC Balanced Power Conditioner Parts Available
« on: 2 Oct 2020, 04:20 pm »
Lots of parts available to build your own balanced power AC conditioner. These are new/unused parts from Balanced Power Technologies. All parts offered are below the cost I originally paid with quantity purchasing direct from the manufacturers--these are exceptional buys. Fairly easy to assemble your own 10A or 20A rated unit with little to no soldering necessary depending on your choice of construction. You can PM me with questions/recommendations about assembly.

20A rated 120VAC balanced output (can also be wired for single ended output like Torus/Bryston units) custom perfectly balanced output Plitron LoNo toroidal transformer (same as used in the BP-2.5 and BP-3.5). These are extremely over built (52 lbs.) at their rated output and quiet. $500 ea.

10A rated 120VAC balanced output (can also be wired for single ended output like Torus/Bryston units) perfectly balanced output Equitech 2B toroidal transformer. These are extremely over built (24 lbs.) at their rated output and quiet. $250 ea.

Chassis of 1/8" heavy aluminum (black powder coat 13"w 15"d 6"h) designed as a 6 duplex outlet power conditioner (12 outlets total). Chassis includes rubber feet, on/off magnetic circuit breaker switch, one GFCI duplex outlet (you will need to purchase 5 additional duplex outlets--Hubbell industrial grade recommended) IEC inlet and all necessary hardware for assembly. $75

6 outlet power strip chassis (3 duplex) made of pure copper that are perfect for a DIY strip (same as used in the Pure Power Center--PPC 18"wx4"dx3"h). $50

120VAC Filter/surge module custom made for BPT by Environmental Technologies (EP DigiPlug) that fits inside any of these chassis. $20

Chassis of 1/8" heavy aluminum (black powder coating 13"w 8"d 6"h) designed as a 6 duplex outlet conditioner (same as used in the Clean Power Center--CPC). Chassis includes rubber feet, screws and on/off Carling magnetic breaker. 20A IEC recommended for a 12 outlet unit. Great for a multiple Felix build. $25

Purchaser pays for UPS boxing/shipping. Keep in mind transformers are  heavy--will not be cheap. I accept check (will ship after it clears) or Paypal (with 3% fee or friends/family)

Assembly available. Offers or trades considered.

No website but if you do a Goggle search on Balanced Power Technology you should find some good information. I bought two of the 20A units from Chris. One was already built and for a very reasonable fee he built the other for me. In my opinion this is one of the best deals out there. I previously used a Torus RM15 Plus which is an unbalanced version of the BPT but at significantly more cost. I'm very happy with my purchases.

I'd echo that . No doubt these BPTs are superb power conditioners.  Extremely reasonable cost too.  I own a couple of different sizes and just got another 20 amp unit from Chris that is about to be delivered.  I have had very good Audience and Synergistic etc.  These BPTs are certainly better, possibly as good as it gets.  A very elegant solution to the AC noise problem as I understand although I am not an engineer.
