Sorry for giving you a hard time my friend, but a little perspective is good for all of us.
The Eagles mortgaged their future to get Wentz and they're playing for it now.
For the record I was on board with the gamble, and it worked out to a degree, they did win a superbowl. Carson hasn't been the same since his knee injury, last year it was always the knee not fully healed yet, then the back, he's physically not the same athlete and will likely never be. And having spent all those draft picks the supporting cast has suffered, the O line is all old men and castoffs leaving a wounded Wentz to carry the team on his back. He hasn't been successful in that.
no question the injuries have had an effect but even the most ardent Eagles fan will admit there is but one direction this club has gone since Frank Reich's departure, DOWN !As for last nights debacle in Pittsburgh I admit I didn't see that coming ......
I'd love to see a Bills / Browns AFC Championship game !You know what they say about Cleveland and Buffalo ......... two mistakes on a lake !
Over the past few years there has been a lot of grousing among Browns fans about their operations manager Paul Depodesta (of Moneyball fame). They thought a "baseball guy" and analytics had no place in football. Yet in consecutive hiring opportunities, Depodesta recommended that the Browns hire Sean McDermott in 2016 and Kevin Stefanski in 2019. Instead, the "football guys" in the organization opted for Hue Jackson and Freddie Kitchens. McDermott was hired the following year by the Bills and transformed that team, and Stefanski, as Vikings OC, had the #8 offense and made it to the division round of the playoffs. Since then, McDermott and Stefanski have gone a combined 51-33 and 4 playoff appearances in 5 seasons and Jackson and Kitchens were a combined 9-46-1. The Browns and Bills are definitely two hard-working, blue-collar teams that represent blue-collar towns.
Pederson fired as Eagles coach!
Jets will be on the phone.
I think the Browns have a chance against the Chiefs.
fingers crossed for Bills & Browns, an AFL Championship game I'd love to see !
Ha ha, not afraid of the Chiefs are you? Of course not, I'm sure you just want a home game.
