Oh, the pool table is an oversized 8’ Olhausen.

With semonas cloth on it.

One of the nicest tables I’ve ever played on.

Bought it from a pool table mover guy, which was handy as he included the move & setup in the price.

Okay, now I’ve had the speakers a few days...

They’re just incredible.

I’m not an audiophile, so don’t speak from experience or a large background of listening to various systems.

Basically compare to my JBL 530s. Which reviews did say:
- holes in them, like nothing above 15kHz
- better with single instrument/voice recordings.

But, now I can really hear the criticisms.

- songs with triangle, I didn’t even know was there.
- orchestral pieces soundEd flat, really enjoy Beethoven 6Pastoral or Schuman #3. Difference between really enjoying it or not even wanting to listen.

Personality... people often refer to speakers as being Bright  or Warm. These don’t have one... they just reproduce the music.

Bass, well the 530s really didn’t have any, configured AMP to enable subwoofer in stereo mode....

The X-Static’s have phenomenal bass. Not just thump thump... but with character.

Yeah, I’m just blown away.

Oh yeah, the 530s were bi-amped for 200W/speaker. The X-Static’s are single channel & have higher dB.
