Yeah thanks!  That thread definitely answered my 3rd question and then some.  I like the idea of soldering all the leads and connections but just alligator clipping the bypass cap connections to continually try out different bypass caps.  Will definitely consider doing that.

However im still unsure about my first 2 questions.  Whether (1) my crossover layout is right the way i have it pictured, and (2) whether my tweeters are the right way around.

The tweeter orientation can be either way. I suggest doing it with the leads in the air because it gives you a lot more room to solder the wire. I know that on mine there was absolutely no room for me to plausibly do it with them on the bottom.

You can also solder the wire first and then screw in the tweeter after soldering.  But I agree, tabs toward the top will be much easier.

I don’t remember having a problem soldering with the tabs on the bottom. I didn’t want the wires shown by having the tabs on top. The hardest part for me was getting the bottom screws in straight to the mdf. I’ve had my NX Studios for a few years now and still love’em and so does the wife. Enjoy the ride!

I wanted to do them on the bottom but I was too dumb to figure it out. NXSTUDIO DRUMMER had a cool system where he fed the wires under the panel material but presumably he has a nice way of cutting things whereas I have a pair of scissors from Harbor Freight.

His posts were really helpful to me when I was putting it together:

Oh yes that material works great! I thought it was a marked improvement over just having no Rez on the ramp and sides. Honestly though you’re not going to see the wires unless you peak back there so it’s not a big deal. I’m currently running a Class D Audio amp with the Studios and am really enjoying it. Congrats!
