  But I don't know if that site or there's a place that would just sent you a "grab bag" cables to you. Not sure why anyone would want to get audio cables that way though. Well, unless you are a big fan of surprises.

I seem to remember something about that as well, but I've lost my keys to the wayback machine so can't go back in time and check.  If I had to guess it was an early iteration of The Cable Company, but that's only a guess.  And yes, it was 3 to 5 of whatever less expensive odds and ends they had lying around at the moment.  Regardless of whoever it was I don't know of anybody doing it now.
