My first reaction was happiness that you have all your fingers!

Your skills remind me of my dad's with a piece of sheet metal in his hands. He could work magic as a tinsmith.

I also am much more happy with this design.  To prevent it from swivelling you just screw the base on to the pipe until it is solid.  It is very tight as you can get a lot of leverage when spinning the foot into position.

In twenty years of woodworking I've had to get stitches twice.  I still have all my fingers  :D

Are you asking about the design of the speaker, or the foot?  The speaker is a design by Soundblab on Youtube.  I designed the foot myself.

Your Purple Heart laminations remind me of the leg assemblies of my own workbench. Here's a shot during finishing (those are PH plugs concealing screws, too):

All Parts Express stuff:  Woofer: Tang Band W5-1135SMF,  Full Range: Fountek FE85, Tweeter: Dayton ND25FA
I did all the crossover work myself.  Watch some videos online and follow the instructions in the plans.  Soundblab on Youtube designed the speaker and he sells really easy to follow plans.
