I am looking for a USB to Optical SPDIF (Toslink) converter. I know - what year is it? 2012?
I purchased a Yamaha WXA-50 streaming amplifier for my desktop speakers. I mostly stream Roon via Airplay or Spotify directly, but I would like to playback computer audio as well. Since it does not have USB input and the analog input is digitized, I would like to keep things digital from the computer to the amplifier by using the optical input.
Something like the Peachtree X1 or Nuforce U192S is desired. I figure someone has a converter in their audio stash for a DAC purchased 1-2 upgrades ago. It's time to KonMari.
