Terry Kath was amazing. His premature death derailed Chicago.
Hendrix was wanting to join Chicago, but then he overdosed before it happened.
There's Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and then everyone else. Not the best but my favorite of everyone else:Mick TaylorLowell GeorgeDuane AllmanJimmy PageJerry GarciaEric Clapton
Currently, Joe Bonamassa. Have seen him live, just incredible. In addition to the aforementioned, here's my incomplete list. There's so many to choose from:1. Rory Gallagher 2. Gary Moore3. Steve Morse4. Alvin Lee5. Jimmy Page6. Jeff Beck7. Eric Clapton And the list goes on and on. Don't forget early legends such as Charlie Christian, Les Paul, and so on.
For a while, Chicago was the opening act for Hendrix. Hendrix was wanting to join Chicago, but then he overdosed before it happened.
I wonder what the Guitar players say is best.charles
Rolling Stone list of top 100. Jimi Hendrix is number 1, no mention of Terry Kaft and others that people posted here.https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/100-greatest-guitarists-153675/buddy-guy-7-155299/
Too bad this Rolling Stone list dont consider classical guitarists, no even John McLaughlin or Ricky Skaggs a Christian virtuose guitarist, this list seems dedicated to Hardcore bands.Willie Nelson? someone listed Willie Nelson!
