USB CABLE

   Pete do you make a Data only USB ? Just found out my DAC does not require the 5V power wire. Using a split cable now. If I remove power leg any issues ?

Charles,
A "Data-only" USB cable is available custom ordered only... I do have one in-stock at this time.

Try removing the power leg on your Innuos Music Server. If your Aqua DAC doesn't need the 5V "trigger", it should work fine...

When I asked Christian at Aqua that question a couple of months ago he told me it did need it.  As a result I bought the Discrete and it sounds great to my ears.

  Jack, I'm using the DAC with latest upgrade to USB and I2S. 5V leg Not require for USB for Formula xHD. Thanks Pete will give it a try.

OK. Removed power leg. OMGoodness. Cleaner sound which is hard to believe but so. If ones DAC has the 5V power built in your gonna be a happy camper.
